3 Steps To Conquer Your Fears

Do you fear anything?

There must be something you fear the most.

Is it riding a bike?

Swimming?

Giving presentations in front of other people?

Fear of failure?

Well, no matter what you fear, there are ways to deal with it.

It’s just we are afraid of taking the initiatives.

Therefore, we have decided to talk about fear in today’s blog but not how everyone is doing it.

Instead, we have narrowed down three steps that can be super helpful in conquering your fears.

So, without further ado, let’s get down to the steps one by one.

1. Positive Self Talk:

“Positive self-talk is the key to any person. If you can change the voice in your mind, you can do anything.” – Jannu  Dhingreja

Did you ever talk to yourself?

You must be wondering what talking to ourselves has to do with overcoming fears, right?

Believe it or not, but this exercise can play an integral role in conquering fears.

Just go to some quiet place, take a deep breath, and talk to yourself.

And tell yourself that whatever happens, you will succeed. You will turn your weakness into strength and make the most out of it.

Just do this small exercise, and you will eventually see yourself improving quite drastically.

2. Reward Yourself:

“When you reach your goals, acknowledge your win and reward yourself.”

There is nothing wrong with rewarding yourself.

We all know that after getting done with some serious work, a treat is something that works as an appreciation.

So next time, when you do a difficult task – something that you have always feared, reward yourself.

Give yourself a small treat.

You can do this by having dinner with your loved ones or going out with your friends for shopping.

In short, do anything that turns out to be a great reward for you.

3. Move Towards It:

It is a pretty simple step but very few people have the courage to follow.

Only you understand your fear.

And the best way to conquer your fear is to move towards it.

What happens next?

Your fear grows smaller and more manageable.

And once your fear grows smaller, you regain your confidence.
